Course introduction.
Organic waste is often treated as a disposal problem even when it contains recoverable nutrients, energy, carbon and biomass value. This programme introduces circular economy principles and practical ways to turn organic waste into resource opportunities. Participants identify waste streams, compare recovery approaches and examine their potential to reduce costs, improve operational efficiency and support ESG performance. Real-world examples and case studies connect resource recovery with business needs. Participants develop a simple organisational action plan to improve resource efficiency and support more resilient, sustainable operations.
