Course introduction.
Ganoderma-related Basal Stem Rot can reduce productive palms, increase replanting costs and weaken plantation asset value. This executive programme helps decision-makers move from reactive responses to an integrated risk-management strategy. Participants compare prevention, sanitation, monitoring, chemical and biological approaches, considering their limitations and implementation needs. Replanting is examined as an opportunity to address infected biomass, soil and root-zone conditions, planting material and future monitoring.
