Course introduction.
Ganoderma-associated Basal Stem Rot affects productive stands, field operations and future planting cycles, so management must extend beyond visible symptoms. This programme gives plantation managers and technical teams a practical framework for assessing and mapping BSR risk, comparing management approaches and planning field action. Participants examine sanitation, monitoring, soil and root health, biological approaches and regenerative replanting measures. Case studies and workplace planning connect assessment with priorities, responsibilities and follow-up indicators. Biological and regenerative approaches are treated as parts of integrated risk management, not as a guaranteed cure for Ganoderma.
