Course introduction.
Commercial passenger transport safety depends on management decisions as well as driver behaviour. This executive awareness programme examines how journey schedules, fatigue management, vehicle condition, maintenance and organisational culture affect long-haul bus safety. Participants explore inspection, defect reporting, incident and near-miss management, and performance indicators through transport scenarios and management discussion. A structured Transport Safety Gap Assessment helps identify weaknesses and priority improvements within their own organisation. This is management awareness and governance training; it does not replace statutory, licensing, ICOP, professional driver, defensive-driving or other required competency training.
